What? A happy ending? Totally unexpected! I mean, it's nice, but I'm so confused now :)

Gotta have a happy one every so often, you know, to keep the reader guessing.

I was expecting this to take a pretty grim turn.

I'm so happy this turned out well. And surpised XD Sammy is the real hero here.

Awwww, that was the most touching crocodile-related thing I've ever read. (And it was genuinely touching, that's not damning with faint praise, even though crocodiles generally aren't associated with warm and fuzzy thoughts)

Won't lie, I was expecting Sammie and his croc to live in the sewers for the rest of their lives. Or at least until Corcy reached Godzilla proportions and ate the entire town.

Yay happy end! and so touching too! Again I feared for the worst, then got surprised in quite the opposite direction. :D

Yes, occasionally there is a happy ending in THE BOOK OF LIES. Occasionally...

This is certainly my favorite so far. The character's perspective and motivation have warmth and whimsy - I love both. It reminds me of me in how, though I try to get noticed, I already have a love that fills and sustains me with hope.
