COMMENTS ARE A LITTLE LATE. Yeah, it's been a busy couple days. Sorry about that. Got the page up on time. Unfortunately, the last page. It was a fun story to write, although it would have been fun to do it as a big GN and really get to explore it more. If nothing else, I would have loved to really write all those monsters I only got to mention. How many were there on this last page alone?!? But that's the fate of an anthology comic -- never enough room!

The next story will be a bit of a change and a bit of the same. Set in a frozen world as men have to face more monsters in "THE VALLEY OF HAS'LOGOTH". Because of work commitments I'm probably going to take a week off and the new story will go live a week from Wednesday. That will let the comic end right before San Diego Comic Con which I'm hoping to go down to. Got the ticket but not the tough get...the hotel room!

A huge thanks to Kamil for his amazing art. You all should check out his stuff on his Dev-Art page. He does lots of card art and is just amazing. This was really a work of love by an artist who loves comics and I hope my writing lived up to his art!

Loved this short story. It's laconic, with just enough of everything, and so is the art, it's detailed where it needs to be and simple where it needs to be.

It feels somewhat incomplete to me, though, it somewhat lacks a large, so to say, "full stop". I wish I could explain it better.

Glad you liked the story and thanks for commenting! I get what you are saying. It doesn't have a full resolve. It's more a tragedy in that his goal is to die (and be reunited with his family), but death is always denied to him. So it's supposed to be more of an open, haunting feeling to the ending.

If you liked the artist be sure to check out his work on our story RISING. That one has more of a painted feel to it. Beautiful stuff!
