Well, I guess they're safe. I mean, it's not like anything worse can happen to them now.
What a sad, chilling story that was! I feel terrible for her, even more so than I do for these redshirts she killed. She's so traumatized she doesn't even realize how much harm she's done. It's so tragic!

I agree it's tragic because she's a phantom stuck in her last moments of pain. Forever.
I remember the Bloody Mary legend from when I was little. I think I like this version a little better because it gives her a motivation, however psychotic it may be.
Also, fantastic gore! Not too over-the-top but just gruesome enough.

Yeah, this version doesn't really use the normal Bloody Mary legend (which is about saying her name three times while looking in a mirror). I started out wanted to tell a horror story with a bunch of sorority girls, but then it became a story about horror stories and why we watch/read them.

Hopefully I explained the "them well enough. In places she is talking about the girls who would go with the boys who attacked her, but by the end she means all girls who might put themselves in bad situations. It's the Marvel idea that villains don't think of themselves as villains, even though she obviously did just kill a lot of people!

I remember doing that bloody mary thing in a closet when I was a young whipper snapper.
I was at a friend's house and of course we didn't notice that glow in the dark halloween costume up on the top shelf until after the chanting was done...

Brutal, brutal story. Certainly makes what Carrie went through seem like nothing, and helps make Mary sympathetic, even after hacking up a room.

The dead have their own form of "logic".. Yes, we'd better respect the dead. D:

Agree it is a good idea to show respect to those we're going to meet with some day.
